| With #22 rings, first mount them on the receiver, pushing the front ring forward and the rear ring backward before you lock 'em down with the throw levers. Then mount the scope in them, and adjust it's position to get things right. This way, when you remove and reinstall the scope, it will be in EXACTLY the same position every time. |

I see the ARMS #22 High Ring set also provides a space on the bottom to view your iron sights. Anyone used a set of these for that purpose? Does this provide enough space to view all sights, i.e., standard A2 vs. fold-down such as ARMS #40 rear, and being higher can you see the front post? Are there any disadvantages to this 'high' ring set other than the scope mounts up alittle higher? |
