Good morning y'all. I would like to get an Aimpoint ML2 to put on my Bushy flat top. I have seen two mounting options for this scope and was wondering if any of you experts out there would
comment on the two methods.

The first method I have seen is using the A.R.M.S. mounts. I believe to co-witness the iron sites I would need the #40 flip up rear sight, the #22M68 base with a spacer block, and the 30mm X-Wide ring. The cost of this method will cost ~ $220.00

The second method I have seen is using the RRA tactical carry handle which includes the A2 type rear sight and a picatinney rail. I think the X-Wide ring will mount directly to this handle and will allow co-witnessing of the irons. The cost of this set-up will be ~ $170.00 This set-up will more than likely weigh a few ounces more, but it looks as though it would be more robust than the A.R.M.S. mounts to me. Although I don't know, that's why I'm asking you guys.

Any comments or opinions on these two methods would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

There are many many more options than just these two, but if you are deciding between those two, then get the ARMS set up. The Rock River "Tactical" carry handle up a little higher than it needs to be and your co-witness is lower than it needs to be.

Neither of the options you have picked allows you to forward mount the aimpoint. Mounting the Aimpoint out over tha handguards offers a lot of advantages. Thats why I really like the GG&G Cantilever mount, or the Knights Offset mount.
