Would you recommend 2x magnification for mostly CQB type shooting or would you stay with the non-magnified optics?

The 2x Aimpoint has been getting pretty crappy reviews, especially for CQB. Stay with the 1x version and you will be better of. If you want a paraimeter rifle, go with a ACOG TA31 scope.

I second SMGLee's advice. By going with the 2X model you are taking away the main advantage of Aimopint optics.
