I just got my #19S from WES at MSTN, (God bless him and Paul) damn good people!
Anyway, This is the best mount I think they have for the ACOGs. Very compct no problems with the #40 (actually space between them) and is rock solid. Actually mount with 3 contcat points same as the #22M68 mount I have. Channel has 4 holes for screws and is exactly the same legth as my TAO1 base.
I actually thought it was a bit lower heightwise than my old #19ACOG and phycologically had convinced myself of it until WES had to measure the darn thing and tell me the truth! THanks WES ! hahaha Just kidding!
I was a bit concerned about the single throw lever however, I am an Army Cav. Scout and we work in VERY rough terrain, I was worried that having only one throw lever it could get knocked or caught n something and bye bye ACOG, After accutually mounting it however I believe this is a farse. Very tight, and Lever is flush to mount when closed. While looking at this I noticed something. Unlike my #19ACOG the #19S has a bump out with a slot in it on the side of the base. The lever arm lyes flush to it. The slot is perfet to slip a ZIP tie through and around the Arm to secure it even more. WALA.
This is over kill but Im like that about most things. I highly recommend this mount to everyone who has an Acog, Its well worth it.

Cool.

My regular #19ACOG has slots for zip ties, too.

Eaglecp,

Is ARMS #19 ACOG-SHORT short enough to provide space for RAS II?

Thanks.

Don't want to highjack your thread, Eagle, but can anyone post a pic of a comp ACOG (preferably the short-tube 3x24) w/ #40 on a flattop?  I'd like to see the eye relief distance and clearance dimension between the scope and the #40.

Thanks.

Id take CT's advise on that one I dont run the RAS2.
I must have had an older model #19ACOG because mine didnt have the slots on the mount next to the rails, But this one does, hehehehehe.
