What scopes does the US military use on their M16s and M4s? What powers are they, too? Thanks.

Amipoint M2 red dot
EOTech 551/552 Reddot
Trijicon ACOG and Reflex red dot
Leupold tactical model line, mostly M3s.
I have seen Night force, US Optics, and S&B.

there are other model used by military, it would be hard to name them all.

The general issue sight that the US Army uses is the M-68 CCO (Close combat optic) . AKA the Aimpoint COMP M .

The ACOG 4x TA-01NSN is in use by SF, but have seen pics of them in the hands of 82nd guys in Afgan.

The ACOG reflex is being used less and less by SF. The EO TECH is starting to see some use by CT/CQB SF units. The SEALs also use the TA-11 ACOG.

There are a few others, but not in common use.
