| The reason I ask is I`m also thinking about the ARMS#40 and actually would prefer the ARMS. Being that the Colt M4 front sight tower is taller than everyone else's and the ARMS unit was designed for the Colt I`m assuming there will be a problem zeroing with a standard A2 front tower. Some of the vendors are telling me there shouldn`t be a problem, some say I might need a taller front sight post. I just need some help here from someone who has a ARMS#40 zeroed on a non -Colt. |

I had one and sent it back. It does not securely attach to the rail. I did not see the need to use a piece of equipment which rattles around, when ARMS makes such a nice product. It is too bad they did not bother to make a way to securely attach the sight to the rail, because it would otherwise be a good alternative. The ARMS#40s work OK on my non-Colts. I have to crank the front elevation post fairly high, but it still works fine. |
