| CAN THIS SIGHT BE USED ON A FLAT TOP RECEIVER WITH THE PROPER MOUNTS? THE BASIS IF MY QUESTION IS WILL THE BULLET BE ON TARGET WITHOUT USING THIS SIGHT ON A CARRY HANDLE.FOR ALL PRACTICAL PURPOSES WHICH WOULD YOU PREFER....THE TA01NSN OR THE TA11 WITH THE DOUGHNUT RETICLE FOR A FLAT TOP RECEIVER? |
| I use a personal TA-11 on my issued M4A1 carbine. I use to mount it on the flattop using a mount that Trijicon sells, But I ended up mounting it to the carry handle. Shoots fine both ways. The TA01NSN is a nice scope, but its not very good for close range; also the donut makes engaging targets quicker, but it covers up a man sized target at 250-300m. In this respect the NSN is more accurate. |
