i have found a mint comp M (no CET) for $150 at a local store.  does anyone know if this is market rate?  i can't seem to find a current price on the web.

That's an excellent price if it's a 3 MOA, not bad if it's a 7 MOA variant but if it's a 10 MOA then that price is about right.

many thanks.  i didn't check the listed dot size, but if memory and the Mk1 eyeball serve, 7 seems likely.  will know more tomorrow.

The 7 MOA will be quick but at ranges of 200yds. the dot will be obscuring 14" of the target.  $150 is still a good buy though.

The dots larger then 3 or 4MOA have limited usefulness in my experience unless the targets are really, really close.  Good for pistols perhaps.

i now have the unit in my hot little hands.  3 MOA with weaver mount.  thanks for the info guys
