Hey, I currently have one mounted on top of the carry handle. If I change over to the flat mount, will the standard front site appear at all, even as a blur?

Yes, it will show up as a blurr, but those of us who run this set up dont even notice it, unless we conciously look for it. If you are concentrating on your target area, I promise you, you wont even notice it. But it is there.
