Are these mags any good?

I dunno but I was in the local Gebos yesterday buying some fencing supplies. Gebos is a "country store" type place that sells guns, feed, animal needs etc.....They had two large wooden "crates" with these magazines in them, looked like 100 to a crate, $11.99 apiece.

I would pass. I know their stocks are popular but their stuff just feels low quality to me.

$11.99 is absurd I'd rather have D&H for  $7. I think Primary Arms had Troy mags for around $7 this week.

I have one. It works perfect, it just feels flimsy. They are $11.99 at Rural King, so I tossed one in their 10% off bucket deals they have.

I've got ten of them and they run perfect in both of my rifles. They seat easily on a closed bolt loaded to 30 and work fine even steel cased. They are as easy to load or hand unload as a pmag. I don't beat on my equipment so I can't say how they'd do in a torture test but I saw a few youtube videos of guys smashing them around and they held up good. I got mine on sale from, I believe, primary arms for $8.99 a mag. At $11-12 each I think I'd just go with a gen 2 pmag.

They run ok, but don't leave them loaded. Feed lips will spread.

I got 10 of them at the PSA Greenville store last year when they were 9.99. what those above say are all pretty on point.
they work great, one of mine wont lock the bolt bak on the last round though. I have that one marked. they drop free fine, never had feed issues.
I haven't had feed lips spreading on the 4 I keep loaded in my range kit, but I tend to only load 20 rounds (one box of 20) in each of my range / training mags.
these seem to me to have much higher spring energy than my GI or Pmags do

at the end of it all, they do feel thin and flimsy though

Our Sportsman's Warehouse had one of these crates and had them for $14.99.  I passed on them.

I used one, no issues just felt cheap.  You can't go wrong with the PMag deals now, Quantico has MOE Gen 2 PMags for $105 for a 10 pack.

I had a couple of them and they expanded when I left them loaded for too long. They wouldn't drop free or insert smoothly into the magazine well. I got a second generation pair from MFT and they're much thicker. I've only had them for a week so I can't say whether they'll work any better long term. I like Pmags better though.

Brownells has them for $104 although it appears the free shipping on over $100 is gone though. I just bought them last week for that price and free shipping.

Academy had them last year on Black Friday for $9.99. Bought a couple and have had no issues.

7.79 at academy website with free shipping. Bought 5 to try out. May by more. I'm a firm believer in you can never have enough mags. I've heeded my father's warnings about the 90s....

Just bought 7 tan ones online at Academy for $7.69 a piece. Fired some yesterday at my backyard range and no issues. Boringly reliable.
