Also check Inside the mags for a date code. Also look for a cage code. Other than that, no stampings cannot be proven to be post ban, and since your mags have the followers/baseplates all switched around, I would feel safe sending the no stamp mags to MD. Another thing I was wondering about... I have no idea or way to know if the baseplates are original to the magazine body. I suppose the main issue is either a date is stamped to CLEARLY establish pre-ban followed secondly with NO DATE... correct? |

Inside of the following magazines ARE marked as noted, one set of numbers on one side of the mag, the second set on the opposite side. One mag just had a single number on each side:
#3 K2 91 02 91 #4 K4 87 04 87 #6 K11 93 011 93 #8 K1 91 01 91 #9 K10 86 010 86 #12 K2 (only one number each side) 02 #13 K7 86 07 86 #17 K8 91 08 91 #18 K10 86 010 86 The rest are unmarked inside and outside. I feel safe calling these PREBAN... any disagree? Thanks |

For example, I was expecting your Sanchez mag to have a black follower. The FNfloorplate mag should have a green one instead of black. Etc. |

OP,
Your magazines with the internal stamping-die date-stamps, such as "K7 91/O7 91" are/were manufactured by OKAY Industries and are "pre-ban" for all intents and purposes. They pre-dated the external date-stamps that were added in the early to mid-1990's by OKAY and others. Good luck. |

Preban mags can go to Massachusetts AND Maryland? Knew about Massachusetts. Any other states behind the lines that preban mags can ship to? Can they be legally sent to MA? That was my understanding before the recent ruling by the AG. Nothing I saw in her ruling seemingly affected pre-ban mags, only post-ban rifle configurations. |
