I have a few blue pmags and they are all the same color save for this one. Looks a little purple. Is it a DIY dye job or something else? Both have the same color follower and marked "M."

Standard blue on top.

Standard blue on right.

And they conveniently match the PortaPotties.

I have no idea, but I can tell you I've died a couple. I cut a tiny bit off one corner of the magazine and the original color was still down there. I'd think that if one is died you could probably cut off a tiny inconspicuous little chip and see if the original color is underneath. If on the other hand they were made entirely of a blue polymer, I'd think that it would be blue clear through.

I suppose Magpul could have offered them for Simunition use, but the FACTORY Simunition mags are clear.

I saw this movie years ago. The bad guys marked the magazines with blanks with blue tape and the magazines with live rounds with red tape.
