[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Mag ID / Year help

I found three of these digging around trying to find some other parts today.

Is it possible to determine the date of manufacture from this? I didn't see any date stampings on the body and I'm
trying to determine if they are "pre-ban" or not. Not certain from the lot numbering or the number at the bottom of the bag.

Okay is the manufacturer stamped on the bottom.

Looks like February of 1988 to me.

I agree except I wasn't certain if that is date of manufacture or date of "built to 2/88" spec plans or something. Perhaps a contract date.

ETA: I kan't speel.

1990 or so, they started putting the date and cage code on the outside.

If there is no date on the body, it's safe to assume it's a pre-ban.

Thanks for this. Needed other opinions in case I decide to pass these to those that need 'preban'.
