| I recently bought 10 new Bushmaster GI style magazines from apex gun parts when they were on sale for $3.75. Are Bushmaster 30rd mags GTG or did I order 10 paperweights? These are the aluminum mags with green followers I believe. I did a google search and found nothing. I would really like the hives opinion. |

I have only one bushmaster magazine, and it was made by C-products (cage code 6m9n8 - even though it's marked "B.F.I." and has the bushmaster snake logo on the floorplate; came with a gun a couple years ago.) Don't know if all bushmaster mags are C-products or not, but based on the cage code, this one is.

I just got home and opened mine up. I got 8 for $38.75. I have to say I am impressed with the Teflon finish and I much prefer it to the dry film on USGI mags. The follower appears very similar to the tan follower being used in the military except for the spring not locking into the bottom of the follower. The welds also look good. I still have a hunch these are made by D&H.

I will try and remember next time.  I however just barely got in on the deal. I was helping someone do some renovations and thought hey I'm going to surf GD for a second when I saw the deal. The photos 226 guy uploaded are the same mags I received. Now I just have to test them out. Thanks 226guy for posting some photos, I was planning on doing it but I really hate posting pics here. I will hopefully soon be able to test some of these mags and let everyone know my experience.

I thought D&H's code was Q4T04, but I just looked at one & it's 04TQ4. I guess memory is the first thing to go. Or is it the second...? I forget.
