Now I know I am going to get some grief for asking this question but I am curious how many of you feel solid about keeping your polymer magazines (pmags) loaded to capacity for a long time. I keep mine loaded with the dust covers on and they are gen m2's. Do you think magazine feed lips on aluminum magazines spread just from being loaded or only from use? Thanks.

Hell ya all loaded up. I have a bunch of NHMTG mags that I keep for SHTF type stuff of defensive purposes but I use my D&H mags for the range. I just am not quite sure yet if I can classify these D&H for defense mags as well.

Keep 'em loaded. NO, you won't fatigue the spring (common question). Spring fatigue happens from USE (loading/unloading), NOT from static pressure.
To add.... I've been using (EVERY range trip) a Glock 19 that I bought new in 1993. I have THOUSANDS of rounds through that thing. Not ONE failure, and it's using the same exact recoil spring, mags, etc that it came with. STOCK to the bone. Lesson: springs will outlive YOU, whether used or not. LOAD those mags, they won't do anyone any good unloaded.

Oh thank you very much for the info on that. Ya I know about the springs I am just wondering about these d&h mags still I guess. I just opened another box of 10 and the feed lips seem really wide. o well.
