somebody is being sarcastic, no?

They're descent mags.

The original Canadian Thermold
mags (Maple Leaf marked) is were the "Thermelt" handle came from.   They were made under license with a lesser
grade polymer (US made mags were of Zytel), that caused the melting
problems with sustained fire from M16's.

For $5...  Fo!

5 bucks each...dunno if they are cunuck stamped or not....and its about a 45 mile drive one way...not sure its worth it

I had about 5 of them at some point in my life.

They ran fine under good conditions.

However, pmags are $9 and USGI's are $6-8; I would buy those instead.

Yes you seem to be looking at purchasing the better ones.  But better is a very loosely used term in this situation.

Spend your money on PMAGs or USGI aluminum and let UPS deliver for free before you waste a 90 mile road trip.

I had no doubt that these were not the cream of the crop. I just was more or less curious, because i've never seen them before. After you fellars told me what kind they were, i did google the name, and red about the canadians and their substandard polymers and all that. I did not get these, as it is way too far, even for 5 bucks a mag. The girl did ask me to meet her half way, and i still said no. Not worth it. thanks for all the info though guys! I would like to get my hands on one or two of these just to mess with them though. just not for 90 miles on the odometer.

Those are 11 H's, good pass.

Ones you want are 21H and 22H.  Those are the trouble free ones that run and run and run.

Id pass, why spend $5 on questionable mags when you can spend $8 for D&H's. (assuming you're not in MA)

So which were cheaper? Her or the mags??

As for the mags, I've never bothered with Thermold, and in all honesty, I tend to run older 20's when I can..
Can't remember the last time I used any of the shitload of 30's I have... I'd sell them if there were no such things as Libs, but that is just a pipe dream...

I cant say that i speak from experience....but she is definately cheaper than those mags

The only issue that I have run into with Thermold magazines is the wonky the base plate is attached,
If you take them apart to clean them you have to be very careful to not break off the tab when reassembling.
I don't take them apart any more.
