429.00 Benchloader @ brownells |
When someone asks "why do you carry a gun? ,you looking for trouble?"
My response is "why do you wear a seat belt?, are you looking for an accident?"

I'm a lefty I don't remember, but it has paid for itself many times over. I load about 600 magazines a year for a friend of mine when he has his machine gun shoots |

It is worth it when you load a lot, ie have a m16 or a couple of them It takes me about 14 hours with the BenchLula to load 600 magazines with loose unboxed ammo

Jesus... That's cool and I'd buy one for maybe $100-ish, but $400+ is retarded. |
If you're good at something, never do it for free.

Very well done, Love it.
Just speaking out loud and not trying to derail the thread and ovation deserved, but.......I wonder if one could be made to load USGI stripper clips. Somehow incorporate a USGI spoon as a "stop for the stripper clip", but with an additional "overtravel " stop. I know there is much more friction from the stripper clip, but ..... Man, would that make that chore easier... Something for me to ponder. |

Philosophy majors: asking the important questions. Such as, "WHY would you like fries with that?"

Good Lord...I was actually thinking about picking one up, but not at anywhere near that price. I could see getting one for ~$75-$90, but the utility isn't there for that kind of money. |

The old one still works and had loaded thousands of mags, but I wanted a cool looking one to sooth the hipster in me. anyways I took 4 sheets of 1/4 acrylic. glued 2 of them together. Cut the arch and "lips" so that a 556 round would fit under them. glued sheet 3 and 4 on, then cut out the mag slot. The arc is 16" radius, and all cut with a 1.2" spiral bit on a router. I did have to buy special glue for this. It made just for acrylic and cost 4 bux on amazon. eta thread that started it http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_118/264061__ARCHIVED_THREAD____Wooden_Benchtop_Magloader.html&page=1 anyways here its is together and seperate. Works pretty well. http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e303/taylorwso/DSC00341_zps1b0b0f77.jpg http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e303/taylorwso/magloaderclear.jpg Nice work! That thing is seriously cool, and it cost 1.17% of what the 'real deal' costs. |
