I have 3 Orlite 30 rnd magazines. I never heard of them before but a little research shows IDF used these thru the 80's.

Any value to them?

Members in preban only states will gobble them up.

I turned mine into a wall rack.

This is what I was wondering, I have no such issues in CT.

I don't wanna rape anyone, but what would be a fair price?

Orlites don't get much money, some reason a lot of us in ban states don't like them.

$10 a piece? I see other pre ban mags going for 2x that.

I don't need them, I will be selling them. Again not looking to pay my mortgage.

I had a few of them some years ago, and I had trouble with them locking. A couple of them I trimmed the locking tab on, but eventually they all went somewhere. I don't think you can get $10 for one today.

Thanks, I'm throwing them into an upper kit I am selling.

There were reports that the plastic was hygroscopic, not a problem in the desert (Israel)

Had a couple that were left with ammo stored in 'em.  A few cracked at the back of the magazine.  Have seen orlites go for $5 each in non-ban states, about what they were pre-1994.

When they first came in you could buy 100 for $3.00/each from, I think, Century International.  I bought that many back then and over time sold them a bunch and kept about 15.  They fit fine in mil-spec mag wells, otherwise you will have to file down at least the corners of the sand ridge if not more, not a big deal just a hassle.  The feed lips will crack in time.  I don't use them anymore.  I suppose I should sell mine too.

At the time they would not fit a Bushmaster without sanding the ribs off each side.

I actually shot mine. It came with a SARCO AR-15 kit I bought.

Next time you sell an aluminum preban mag toss it in as a surprise freebie!

That would explain why the dozen or so I owned in the mid 90s would swell up and not drop free when I lived back east.

I used plenty of them in the 90's in my Bushmaster AR, I believe that they were mold # 23 and up.  never any problem as long as you didnt beat them up on the concrete.  The feed lips will crack if you beat them up.

I have three. All three of them have the cracked feedlips. They all still feed fine at the range , but If I load them before I go to the range when I go to pull them out of the bag they are mostly empty and the bag is full of loose rounds.

I used a couple of them with cracked feed lips to camouflage my 30rd Ceiner .22 mags.
