Do you buy used mags? Would you buy used mags? Would you buy some brands used and not others? What's your experience? If you buy used, what are you willing to pay for various brands?

Over the past year, I've gotten some good deals from this EE.
Okay and Center's. Some with new tan followers, and most with green. Some looks brand new with no bag, as others were well used but still cycled well. I got some deals for 5-6 per mag on the used side. Mostly in lots of 8-10 at a time New I have averaged 7-10 a piece with shipping. If they wont include free shipping with 8+ mags, I move to the next thread. I have gotten about 50 total mags from the EE within this time frame with no issues. |

Im not a used parts person no matter what the price is. Some are and they make their rifles work like a brand new from the factory model. But for me, I only trust new product, never been used, no history to it.
My arsenal of mags are Pmags. I have used a few D&H mags that came with my rifle, but Pmags is all I use. You can find some in good condition, but I like things new with no prior history. If anybody is gonna break it its gonna be me. I dont want to buy nearly broken or susceptiable to breaking products. Also, buying new can be beneficial to you as most products come with warranties when you buy them. Most warranties are voided when buying once purchased items. Just my 2 cents. |

Do you buy used mags? Yes. Would you buy used mags? If they are in good shape and not abused. Would you buy some brands used and not others? I prefer date stamped prebans first (of course), my favorites are Colt, NHMTG, OKay, and brownells. I usually buy any surplus GI 20 rounders I find. I have never bought a used plastic mag. What's your experience? 95% work just fine, some need tweaking, some are just junk. If you buy used, what are you willing to pay for various brands? I won't pay more than $5 per used mag. Bill IMHO |

Here in NY (behind enemy lines) we need to buy preban mags to have 10+ rounds. Most of us buy all the other guys mags so you (in a free state) can buy new!
Most of us would prefer to do a 1 for 1 trade on mags, meaning we will pay what your replacement cost for new. |
