| I run Boonie Packer Redimags on two of my AR's and am trying to shave some weight off of my duty rifle which is so outfitted. I run two 20 round mags in my duty gun while mounted in my patrol car rifle rack for clearance reasons so that does help keep the weight down and also allows me to get a bit lower to the ground when going prone. Has anyone seen or used the skeletonized Redimag? Is this a modification that anyone here has done on their Redimag? |

Are you running one of these Blue Force Redimods? I'm using the Magpul BAD lever on one of mine and am impressed with added function of using my trigger finger to release the bolt. Since I index my finger during mag changes I've developed the muscle memory of resting my finger on the BAD lever. Thie method is a bit faster and sometimes a split second can count.......................... I viewed the instalation YouTube on the Blue Force website and like the latest 'rubber band' style of gasket. Sure beats the old three or two piece gaskets!! |
