Converting PMAGs from 30 to 10 rounds. The question is in the legality of the "permanence" of the conversion. If the magazine is magblocked, do you have to glue/epoxy the base plate on? I have read and reviewed differing opinions on this.

If you take apart the magazine to remove the magblock, the magazine becomes parts, so can we assume that the "permanence" is not an issue?

Any thoughts on the matter are appreciated.

The spare parts can be used to repair another magazine. If you repair a grandfathered 30 rounder, don,t end up with more completed/assembled 30 rounders than you started with.....

Making a 10 rounder, ensure it can,t become a 30 rounder easily. I would block the capacity and epoxy the baseplate to prevent it from being manipulated into a banned magazine. Allowing it to be easily swapped from 10 to 30 not worth it.

I think the Magpul website talks about their magazine capacity blocks as possibly not meeting legal requirements in some places, that they may need futher modifications depending on where you are.....

My hat is off to you for sticking it out in that hell hole.  The only thing permance for me would be my departure from that sewer.
