Not sure if I should have posted this in the Ammo topic, or here.

Is it a good idea to keep magazines loaded? I've got twelve Mapul 30 rnd mags loaded. Wondering if I should put the ammo back in the ammo can.

What say you?

Not a problem to keep it loaded.  Repetitive use wears the springs more than keeping them loaded.  If you have the top popped on the pmags that takes pressure off the feed lips if that it a worry.

Unload all magazines and turn the ammo and empty magazines over to your local po-po for safe storage.
It's for the children.

no problem keeping them loaded...constant pressure doesnt wear out a spring....somebody should really make a sticky about this topic...
