Ditto on the CAA. Duct tape works but looks ghetto.

i like Brownell’s coupler for 4 reasons:
1 - the mags are staggered
2 - there’s a top round protector for the second mag preventing any movement of the top round (this feature also doubles to help keep debris out of the mag.)
3 - they’re inexpensive
4 - they flat out work!

BE ADVISED: Brownell's coupler is NOT compatible with Pmags!

(sorry, no picture)

please... do not use duct tape! haha

I just found my CAA broken today...... It lasted about a year and a half. Take the reccomendation with a grain of salt.

Firefightr...you should call CAA...I bet they would replace it....their add says "virtually" indestructible.. so they might send you a new one...MIGHT...
They do make metal ones but if you are using GI aluminum mags...they may get dented form the coupler....
I just use mine mainly for back up ammo...two mags loaded...grab-n-go type stuff....

SASS I will give them a call next week. I use Cammengas I doubt they would bend I might look into a metal coupler.

I've got 2 CAAs that I like, and one strap model (Buffertech...?) that I do not. I use the CAAs to hold pairs of loaded PMI 40 round steel mags which are my everyday "household mags", so a pretty heavy load and daily banging around, and they have worked well for a while. I've also seen pictures of them with troops in either Afghanistan or Iraq, cannot remember which, and I think that is a strong endorsement for any product. I used to do one upside down with duct tape wrap for years too, and that always worked fine as well.

I think you have the offset reversed...I imagine there is a great potential for blocking ejecting rounds from leaving with that right mag up above the ejection port...

If you start with the right mag at least the ejection port cover will already be down when you swap, but it looks like it might still be an issue. You've been using it in that configuration?

My apologies, it was an older pic....just put it together for the pic of my new rifle...I have since changed it...the left mag sets higher than the right...as it should be...the top of the right one is just below the ejection port...no clearance problems...will try to get a pic up soon...

I HAVE FOUND LUCK WITH WARLOCK MAG COUPLERS FROM DARK TERRITORY. 1-888-900-6063. THESE THINGS ARE TOUGH!!! I HAVE THREE, TWO REGULAR STYLE AND ONE PROTOTYPE LIGHTWEIGHT ONE. YOU CAN TACTICAL RELOAD AND LET THEM HIT THE GROUND, AND NOT ONLY DO THEY NOT SLIP OR BREAK LIKE OTHER BRANDS, BUT THEY ALSO PROTECT THE MAG. (THEY ARE ALOT TOUGHER THE THE MAG.) CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS GREAT, I THINK IF YOU BREAK ONE THEY WILL REPLACE THEM FREE, BUT IF YOU CAN BREAK ONE OF THESE, THAT WOULD BE IMPRESSIVE. THEY ARE ALUMINIUM WITH TOP GRADE HADWARE.  INSTALLED CORRECTLY, AND NOT OVER TIGHTENED, THEY RUN FLAWLESS. I WAS GOING TO POST SOME PICS BUT CANT FIGURE OUT HOW. WILL POST LATER.

I'll help ya out with pics.  I've been testing out the Warlock couplers for a little while now and am looking forward to recieving the light weight version.  These couplers are tough as nails.
