A guy I know has 10 or so Colt Ar-15 30 round mags. Some may date from VN or shortly after. They have alum followers. All are used, but in good condition. How much should I offer for each?

Info appreciated.

30's never had alloy followers.

20's or 30's go $10-15 depending on condition. (I bought a few lots of various used mags last year and never paid more than $10ea shipped.)

Very early 30's had emerald green followers and PART numbers stamped in the follower and body. These are collectible and prices are all over the place. ($20-$50ea)

Just make sure they're actual GI-type mags. Some of the crap-mags made in the 80's had "COLT AR-15" stamped on them

Joe Pennsy - thanks for the response.
My error -  I called him. Some are Adventure Line MFg with black followers. Some are Colt not sure of follower color, but are pretty early.

I've got a bunch of the early alloy follower 20rd "Colt" mags I got for $5 each after the "Klinton ban" ended.
Since Colt never made mags, does anyone know who actually produced them?

Considering that you can get new MilSpec magazines with Magpul followers for $10 each, I would offer $5 each.
