No. They have a reputation for short life spans.

I've always liked them and never hand a problem with them.

I've had a half dozen for close to 6+ years and have used them in local 3 gun matches and as my go to range mags because they were very easy to disassemble and clean after being dropped in the sand/dirt and I didn't really give a crap about them because I only paid $7-8 apiece for them.

They are still going strong, but with the options we have today at similar price points, I'd sooner buy $7 D&H mags or $9-10 Pmags.

I bought one a while back for a idf clone I was working one.  Changed my mind on the clone, but the orlite went through a couple carbine classes since, no probs.

I would buy new mags if I wasnt going for a "period" type thing.  pmags can be had cheap and are better

Throw a fistful of money in the toilet and flush. Same effect as owning Orlites.

The Israeli's surplus them for a reason, they were by and large junk. Anybody that has worked with the Israeli military will tell you that they do not throw anything aways unless it just does not work or is worn out.

Sure you will get the few who call them GTG after a few range sessions, but you have to ask yourself why a standing army junked and surplus a whole series of mags?
