Unfortunately, I live in a state that has some seriously stupid gun laws. The dumbest of the dumb laws says I cannot carry a loaded non-CCW magazine, in my vehicle. This means that I cannot have a loaded mag for my truck gun.

I am looking at various ways to speed load a couple magazines.

I already have stripper clips and was planning on leaving a stripper guide on both magazines with a stripper clip engaged, but no rounds in the magazine. This would fulfill the letter of the law since it does not mention clips, but only magazines.

Tomorrow I am planning on looking at Striplula loaders. These seem nicer than the stripper guides because it holds the stripper clip very straight so there is no sideways twisting force and binding of the rounds in the stripper. If I was in a hurry I can rip 10 rounds into both magazines and go.

The maglula bench loader is just way too big for this application. It would do the job, but it is not going to ride well in a pistol case in my back seat.

What other magazine speed loaders should I be looking for?

Thanks. I bought the strip lula and it works way better than the regular guide. Takes a few tenths of a second to drive in a stripper clip full of ammo.

Ever see the Camanga mag loader?

I sell them at Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot. They are in use by many of the shooters on the main firing line. They work GREAT (Yes, I'm prejudiced!)
