All of my current AR mags have Magpul followers.  I just prefer them.  Last night, I ordered some Brownells 20rd mags.  These will be my first 20rd mags that were not PMAGs.  Can I use the same Magpul followers in the 20rd aluminum mags that I've been using in the 30rd aluminum mags?

No, the straight body 20 round mags need followers that tilt a little to work right.

There are two options for 20 rounder.... tilting alloy followers, and tilting polymer followers...

Anti-tilt or no-tilt followers will hinder proper function.

This is correct. All of my straight factory 20s run with the original alloy follower.

On the curved 20s the follower will work but you might have to shave some material off the bse of the legs to get the full round count.

Curved twenties like D&H makes are essentially short thirties.Same baseplate, same follower.  Magpul followers that work in thirties will also work in curved twenties.
