I just bought some 30rd Okay(LEO)mags, and I want them black..........can I have them powder coated or can I spray them myself?
What kind of paint can I use, and anyone know where I can buy new springs?  I already bought magpul followers and ranger plates!

thanx!

For black, my vote would be powder coat.  For custom colors paint would be a less expensive option because powder coat custom color powder is usually only available for purchase in larger amounts.

to an extent yes. but most all colors in powder will be the same price. unless you want a 2-3 stage  color

You could use "self etching primer" available at an automotive paint shop. It comes in black. You might have to get them to order it for you. I have not used it on mags, but it sticks to stainless barrels pretty good. Its like $12 a can which would do a lota mags.
