| With the steel body do they run reliably with MagPul or CMMG anti tilt followers? Am I better off leaving the factory black followers in them? |

This was a consistent issue, and something that was addressed in later versions of the design. I'll look for the pics I posted way back then to illustrate the problem. ETA: 
An unmodified Gen 1 follower will rub/drag on the reinforcing ribs at these points. This Gen 1 follower has been modified to remove some plastic at those points. Later Magpul followers changed the profile in that area to eliminate the problem. 
The extra indents at the top are a little deeper on some mags, and the "England" steel mags are like that. |
