Before you take it back could you post pictures?

Do you mean that the feed lips are only about 1" wide each side or that it only has ONE feed ramp?

I don't think the question is worded properly enough to give us enough detail to answer your question. Post a photo and it will be much easier to help you.

You could also do a search or go to Lancer's website and look at other photos to see if yours is the same.

The steel feed lips are molded on the interior of the mag body.

No, does not sound correct.  I just sent you an email

If there is a problem we 'll replace the magazine.

Everything worked out. I went back and had it replaced by a proper mag. What had happened was that the feed lip had been molded (not the word Im looking for) of just the polymer on one side and no steel feed lip was present at all so it looked like a feed lip but was polymer and you could just see right through it. The mag I got it replaced with has both steel feed lips and looks correct. It looks to be a very good product now i just have to test it out

That's unfortunate... I would have liked to see this phenomenon in photographs.

I wouldn't have returned it... I would have tested it, to see if it would work.

I guess Lancer needs to hire a low-payed immigrant worker to sit at the end of the production line and make sure all the magazines have feed lips.

Nice drawing. You obviously had a freak mag. Bound to happen.

Interesting, sounds like the insert was not placed and polymer flowed into where the insert would have been.

I didnt think of that. That makes the most sence.

Did you ever see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?  That was the Golden Ticket!!!!

You Won! You Won! You Won!...oops you already returned it

Seriously, sorry about that.  We had a small tooling problem a while back and it looks like a bad one got through.  Send me an email and include your mailing address for a consolation prize, but you don't get the tour through the Chocolate Factory.

PS, the mag would have run OK, I've run then with no steel feeds, just plastic.

Being a mag freak, and more Pmags on backorder....... a local shop has some Lancer mags for $18, I think I will buy 6 and have my teenager and I test these out.

After reading the many threads on here its convinced me to purchase some, and the quick and favorable responses from LancerSystems also makes it an easy decision too!!!

I would have kept it as a conversation piece and posted pics.

It's honestly great to see that a rep is a regular in this forum for lancer systems.  I have 6 lancers and they have not failed me to this date.  Really good to see people making things right if others feel they are wronged.

We have been a Lancer partner from the beginning. We had a rough start, but the crew at Lancer was there to rectify the issue and make it right. Here we are a year later and after seeing their new products at SHOT and meeting them face to face, we believe in their direction even more.

They make a great product and back it up with better customer service. We are proud to sell Lancer products and cannot wait to get the new 20 round and 48 round mags in stock.
