My local shop had some orange Pmags so i said hell why not get some for the range. I picked up two just to see how i like them. I decided since i have seen other people with the orange Pmags that i would make mine a little different, instead of writing my initials on them i decided to break out the hunter green Krylon Fusion.

They look good and the krylon is very difficult to chip after about 10 days.

Anybody else done anything similar for range mags or just for the hell of it?

I thought the orange mags were a limited run and really hard to find.?  I'd like to find some in my local shop.

My local shop still has like 50 of them. You should drive on down to tally and scoop them up.

For range mags, I had the original USGI I tried some Dupli-color bedliner paint on, iit actually has held up quite well and is in the go-to mag collection as its never malfunctioned(I bought 10 PMAGS when I got my rifle, and have bought 20 USGI's since and fell in love with them again after I actually SHOT the rifle). Probably do it to any USGI mag that gets very scratched up over time.

And had a BDM I got in hideous grey as it was the only choice at the time when I ordered my CMMG .22 kit and went a little COD4 with it:

I would think orange mags, while suitable for regular use, are meant for dry fire and malfunction drills with dummy rounds only, for safety.  I bought Glock orange baseplates for my dry fire mags and wrapped my dry fire AR-15 mags with orange duct tape.
