I am trying to find some Pmags and of course there are none to be found. I am not familiar with how many of these vendors work backorders. Could you please direct me to a backorder list from a reliable and trusted source.
Thank you! |

A friend got on Brownell's list the same time that I got on Aim's. He just sent me a PM (on another forum) saying that his just shipped. I haven't heard a peep out of Aim yet. I knew I should've got on Brownell's list instead... I think Aim is really over-worked. We ordered two CMMG uppers 3 weeks ago.... they shipped yesterday. It is taking them a while... but they are getting the stuff out the door and are good people to talk to... always very helpful. |

I ordered 10 Pmags Nov. 3 from Brownells but haven't gotten them yet.
I called Brownells and they said they're getting 1000 a week and it would be a few weeks before the backorders were filled. Of course this is nothing more than hearsay. Good thing I'm not in a hurry for them. |

We'll see... . On the topic of Aim, has anyone one here received any mags from them that they have ordered/backordered in November? M-T minds are curious... |

Brownells is one of Magpuls largest vendors and has been restocked several times since the run on PMags. Unfortunately, they raised their prices versus those of our AR15 sponsors.
There are numerous AR15 forum sponsors who did not raise their prices after the election buying binge. Many will accept backorders at the pre-election prices. Try searching some of the sponsors via the tabbed links. You can also try the Equipment Exchange area or the Industry forums........hint. HTH

I have quite a few on order from various vendors - many of which did not state they were out of stock when I placed the orders. Well, we all now know better. Just about everybody has been out of stock since the election. Brownells is about the only vendor that I have heard is filling backorders on a regular basis.

Very few vendors had any at this past weekends gunshow in Dallas. The ones who had them only had a few and they were priced around $25 for standard non magview pmags. I found a guy who had a bundle of standard black for $20 a mag so a bought them just cause. I damn sure didn't need them with all the ones I have lol!
Funny thing, two different vendors had a shit load of the safety orange magview pmags for $30 a mag...go figure!

I ordered 20 blk and 10 tan (no window) pmags from aimsurplus today for the $14.20 price. My AR won't get here for a few months probably, so I'm in no rush, and they won't bill CC until they ship, so as long as the order eventually gets filled, I"m ok with that.
I can't believe I just ordered 30 mags for a gun I don't even have yet. But from the research on here, they seem to be very well though of, and the $14.20 price seemed fair given the circumstances. I may still get some steel mags somewhere, I'm not sure if I want aluminum. I'm thinking the pmags are probably as durable and will store loaded for long periods of time compared to aluminum, w/ the dust covers. So while a few bucks more, I think the pmag is better option, in my mind, based on my limited knowledge. I'm still researching which steel mags to look at, I see some benefits to having some steel mags, but the drawbacks being more careful storage and added weight if carrying. Hopefully this will all settle down, but at least I have a reasonable amount of mags coming, hopefully :) Karz |

I have 15 30rd backordered with eguns and 15 30rd and 2 20rd backordered with del-ton, and 5 30rd back ordered with global tactical.
I have called aim twice each time received rude respones. I somewhat understand the annoyance of having to say "pmags are expected in 6-8 weeks" over and over. But both times I called to see if there was any change, I received a rude reply. |

No idea on 44mag I've had some dpms and magpul mags on order with them since late oct.
Magpul is shipping mags that's for sure. The problem is many of the popular vendors that allow backorders have so many backorders currently that it's going to take 4-5 shipments just to get caught up not including the additional backorders they are getting every day. There are also a few distributors/vendors that are making huge orders putting away every shipment they get instead of putting them up for sale in hopes they quadruple in price if a ban should go through down the road. Better to get in on a site that does not allow backorders that will email you when they come back in stock and jump on them when they do. I've been able to pick up 30-40 mags that way in the last couple weeks at normal prices. |

Ordered (10) black and (5) FDE PMAG-30s from Brownells on 11/7, and got an Email confirmation today that my order had shipped. |

I bought 10 desert brown 30 round windowed PMAGs at a local gun show on Friday November 21st for $19.00 each (lowest price that I saw, but $1.00 more than the previous show). I bought 6 desert brown 30 round (without windows) PMAGs at the previous local gun show in September for $15.00. Most vendors at the November show were selling the windowed 30 round PMAGs for $20.00, but some vendors were charging $25.00 - $30.00. By Saturday at noon, only the $25.00 - $30.00 PMAGs were left. The overall PMAG prices seemed to increase by about $1.00 - $2.00 from the September show.
All of the local gun shops here seemed to have sold out of PMAGs the weekend after the election. Some of the gun shops were getting more in but it seems that they are getting sold out very fast. I have been giving 4 of the PMAGs without windows a workout at the range at they work just great. I will probably get a few more at the next gun show in February. |
| Frankly, it's way too early to engage in panic buying. There's no reason to pay more than retail for PMags. The company is making plenty and shipping regularly to its dealers. i just got black PMags from Palmetto that I ordered two weeks ago. $14.95 each and $7 or $8 for shipping. Other dealers are shipping at about the same period of time after placement of an order. |
| New to the forum here, been tracking this thread and decided to place an order with Brownells. Ordered a bunch of 20 round Pmag in Dark Earth on Tuesday Night, got shipping confirmation today (less than 48 hour turn around). Looks like the orders are shipping, no need to buy into the inflated prices. |

Any one have a expected ship date from 44 mag? I have been waiting a while. I E-mailed 44mag today. "Spoke" with Mark. I asked him about Pmags his response was "Magpul doesn’t have any ETA it could be a while!" As for DPMS mags in the 308 flavor, ""An order placed today should ship in three weeks or so." |

I spoke to the sales department @Brownells- they told me that although they were currently out, they expect a shipment of 6000 pmags by the end of December. Those are already sold. New shipping date for orders today is February. If then. At least that is what they told me when I talked to a 'supervisor."
