From their website the Orange and Grey followers are Second Generation, the Red and Tan are Third Generation.  Can some tell me what the difference is between the second and third generation?

Actually the third gen followers are foliage green and yellow per Magpul's site.

On Magpul's follower page just click on the color options selection box.

I put the yellow ones in some of my black teflon D&H mags. They look and run sweet.
