I need 5 round mags to hunt with.  Who makes the best ones?

It would appear that C Products makes a good one. I just bought one from 44mag.com, the only problem was it was way to tight to get the 5th rnd in and no way you could insert it with the bolt closed, I figure they did that to insure there was no way possible to get a 6th rnd in and get a hunting violation, anyways I trimmed 2 coils off the spring and now it's perfect. Not one jam yet. Beats the hell out that screwy thing I got from CTD(john mason I think)

We do make them very tight, I don't want anyone to get into trouble if that 6th round should fit, even though the magazine most likely would not work. Cutting the coils was a good idea on your part.

+1 for both CProducts, and 44Mag. Good experiences with both. I only wish 44Mag had more of the discontinued 30's with Magpul followers for $9.99 ea. Glad I got my 10 when I did.
