Does anyone make a 5 round mag for .223 in an AR15? I have the 10 round mag that is pinned to only take 5 rounds, but the mag hits my back/side when I carry it in the field. I know I could remove it as I walk or carry the rifle in front but I like to carry it on my back. I only use the AR for hunting.

CProducts makes a 5 round straight magazine.

Is the 5 rd mag half the length of the 10 rd mag? Do they have a web site I can go to? Thanks, Dogger

the 5rd mag is the same size as the 10rd mag

The only part of these that sticks out from the lower is the wider part at the base. I have had no problems with them.
