[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Mag pouch ??

I saw somewhere a pouch that holds (6) 30 rd mags. It could have been surplus I can't really remember now. I think it was under $10.00.

Any thoughts??

Anyway what do you guys carry/store your not in use mags in?

Probably a SAW ammo pouch is what you're talking about. They hold six 30 rounders. Most of the surplus dealers sell them fairly cheap.

The SAW pouch (the old OD ones) will hold 7 30 round mags snugly. The molle ones will hold 6 30 rounders.

These are excellent pouches that I have used for more than 25 years.

That is what I have, I have two OD saw pouches with 7 each - 210 rounds ready to go!

This holds 6 mags perfectly, has a snap in cover with an elastic split for use with lose ammo. Remove the inside cover for use with mags. I keep six loaded with mags at all times. A mag pul on every other mag makes for easy removal.
