A Colt 20 round 7.62 mag was hiding in a few 5.56 mags I purchased. I don't know anything about them, only that I don't need it.

Based upon web research it is a Colt mag using a 556 20 round housing that allows 7-8 7.62 rounds. The follower/feed lips are designed for the 7.62 round and look a lot different than my 5.56 mags.

The floor plate looks like this......

Not my pic, googled it. But it is the same, exactly.

The mag is in 80% condition with use wear, but is in good operational state.

i have a couple of these. I drilled out the rivet, and removed the mag block. They work fine for 20 rnds of 5.56

Sorry champ, but these are the standard 5.56 Mags with a 7.62x39 butt plate.  This is the reason IMHO that C Products is working so hard to help us get a good AR 7.62x39 Mag.
