Bought some mags for my new 6.8 DPMS and noticed that the "stacking" angle is different than the DPMS mags, and they don't feed correctly.

Question is this :

Did I get .223 mags reconfigured w/6.8 push plates (part pushing up cartridges) ?

Thanks and look forward to the correct "terms" for these issues.

you'll need to give a little more info such as what brand of mag is it or where did you buy it

also the "push plate" is called a follower

good luck

Thanks for the reply, and any help is greatly appreciated.

On the top of the magazine, there  are curved side pieces at the rear that holds the cartridge before firing.
On the  C Products mags, that curved piece is longer and turns at a right angle to the sides of the mag, not "swept" back like the DPMS mags.
Also, the floor plates of the C Products mags are at a different angle and do not align when placed directly over the DPMS mags.

The curved parts are called feed lips.
