I did a search and didn't see any topics on this.  Any tips?  Looks like I bend the tab at the rear of the floorplate down a bit and it slides back towards the rear.  Sorry for the stupid question, but I don't want to have to order a new floorplate because I broke one.

yes, use a small flat blade screwdriver if necessary

And be sure to point the bottom of the mag away from your face!

Actually, you "lift" the tab up a bit without bending it by using a flat head screwdriver... just until the "lock / dimple" clears the mag itself. then you slide the mag plate off carefully while placing a thumb over the mag spring as the plate clears the entire mag.

I use an old section of cleaning rod myself.  It fills the hole better in the plate.
