I am having a feeding issue with exactly one mag in one specific gun.

Every single round, the bolt ends up going over the top of the live round(which still has the ass end retained by the magazine feed lips). It will not do this when I charge the weapon, only when the gun cycles. I know it's this one magazine because I have it marked, however this magazine works just peachy in my other rifle, but at the same time the rifle that has the issue will run just fine with all my other magazines. It's acting like it's short stroking but it won't do it with any other magazines and it does lock back on the last round(firing a chambered round with an empty mag).

Rifle specs for the one having the issue:
Stag Lower
Bushmaster Patrolman's barrel
Fulton A1 upper
LMT Bolt and M16 Carrier

The magazine is a CProducts SS 30 rounder. My other 7 SS mags work fine, as do all my GI mags.

What kind of ammo are you using?
I have seen Wolf ammo do this in a few rifles using a CProducts magazine.

Try the same magazine with brass cased ammo.

I have the same exact issue with one of my ARs. I have an Olympic that works fine with the 10 round steel mag, but when I throw in any other mag the bold comes forward and strikes the round about midway. It's packaged up now going back to Oly for them to take a look at it.

That sounds EXACTLY like the failure I'm having, except it's one mag. Granted I havn't tried too many GI mags. Going to give CProducts a call on my day off and see what they say...
