Permaslik wears about as good as original dry film finish. Teflon is a much more durable finish.

It's basically the same finish that came on most USGI mags (Sanchez, O-Kay, Center, etc.). It'll mark with as little as your fingernail, but in order to get it all off, you'll need steel wool or acetone. Permaslik's appeal is that it basically restores your mags to have an original finish, not necessarily the most durable.

"Perma Silk" is my wife's favorite. She says it not only softens her hair, it helps hide the gray as well........

At $15 a can that's a waste if it comes off that easily. Ok, what will hold up and look like the D&H teflon mags?

Did my Old mags about 4 0r 5 years ago still looking good!
