No, they are a 10 round magazine with a CP Ranger floor plate. The floor plate is an extension that allows easy removal from the mag well.

The magazine without the floor plate willl extend just slightly lower than the mag well. The ranger floor plate will make for easy removal.
We had posted that this will be a stainless steel mag but we felt the cost would be too high and are finishing up the original tool for the 10 round mag. It will be aluminum, green follower, chrome silicon spring and Mar-Lube finish. Cost will be $15.95 each. Available 3-27-06.

Any illustration yet showing the body and the floor plate?

They will actually be a 10 round body. We will be updating our web pics later this week. Sorry for the confusion.

What is Mar-Lube?  YES I AM THAT DENSE! ENGLISH MAN, ENGLISH!

Not a problem.
Standard coating on our aluminum mags is a gray moly dry coat which is the mil spec. finish. Even though the appearance is poor, it impregnates into the material and offers very good lasting protection. We have met with our supplier of that finish and specially formulated a black moly dry coat which is much more durable and looks much better.  To the touch it feels like the teflon coating. And offers the protection we want.
I hope this helps.

Do you happen to have any pictures of this magazine in a AR or lower receiver to show how it
will look in place? sen them on your site, they look good but it would be nice to see the finished
product installed ready to go
