I am just wandering if you have ever had one tilt?

I will start- no.

Poll shortly.

ETA: We will keep the voting to quality 5.56 magazines (USGI, HK, etc.)

Use to happen all the time with my USGI Black Followers, then I switched em out for some Magpul Anti Tilts...never had a misfeed since.

I spent 20 years in the Marines, and own five AR's now. I have never had a follower problem. I've updated all mine to green, but not because the black ones didn't work.

While I"m at it, I've never felt the need for a forward-assist, either

Well it was not me but a friend of mine using my gun and mag with the green follower. It tilted about have way thru the mag after shooting . It happened when he was taking the mag out the ammo tilted some how nad jammed up the mag. Funny it never happiend to me but someone else using my stuff.

I have a 30 round Colt mag that will tilt/jam if you even look at it funny. It has the green follower and is also rough as a cob inside. New teflon with brown Magpul's are all perfect.

Had a couple of tilts with USGI followers.  Now, every magazine I buy gets a MagPul follower.

No, but I have switched all of my mags to the Magpul follower just to be sure that I'm not one of those who have experienced the problem.

Tack

Not that I know of. But have had some FTF that "could be attributed to a "tilt" but Im  not sure one way or th other. Black and Green followers have been very reliabl, but I also use some Magpuls which work great.

used to happen all the time with my AR10 mags

Yes, and more than once.  I think most of us who served in the military and did grunt work will say the same thing.  The green followers helped, but its not like they are perfect either.

Hitting the ground hard with a partially full mag is one of the more common examples.  The harder I ran a gun the greater the chances of it happening.  Issue gear took a beating that my current gear usually does not.

Happened on black followers and fixed with green/orange.

I've had quite a few of the green ones tilt when loading in .458 SOCOM rounds and getting in too big a hurry.  The MP anti-tilt took care of that problem.  Once loaded though I have never had even the green ones tilt and misfeed, even in the .458 SOCOM.

Yep. With really old mags ... with the old / original followers. Both in 20 and 30 rounders.

I have since upgraded all my old 30's with the Magpul Gen1 anti-tilt followers.
