Figured I'd ask the experts here.  Hoping someone might be able to tell me the manufacturer or if these are worth keepin'.

I bought these mags approx. 11 years ago not sure of the manufacturer.  Both are the black followers.
First one has no marking on the floor plate, finish is good, never fired from.

The second one has some real generic markings  on the floor plate, the finish is good, never used.

They were both supposed to be contract mags.

I'm replacing followers in my mags with new Magpuls and I'm wondering if I'm better off just scraping these and purchase some D&H's to replace these with.

Thanks for any info you folks can provide.

Respectfully,

Would help if we could see the pictures instead of the "x"

Take them shooting and see how they work.

They almost look like gray teflon D&H mags from the pics.

If they work well, keep them.

WIZZO

EDIT: are there any light stampings on the sides of the mag bodies towards the bottom?

Sorry checked after I posted and the pics were up.

I'll try to repost them on another site.

Edited... they should be displaying properly now.  Sorry for any inconvience.

No Sir.  There are no markings of any kind on the sides of either mag.

The first magazine is sterile of any identifying marks.
The second only has the text on the floor plate.

They are both considerably lighter in color than my LaBelle's, color is much closer to some Center mags that I've got.

Guess I'll have to take your advice and just give them a "trial by fire".

Thanks for takin' a look.

They might be Bushmaster.

Try Troy's Mag FAQ.  Might find something in there.

ETA  Found this about Bushmaster:

[2-2-8-1] Bushmaster Firearms Incorporated
---------
Bushmaster sold gray teflon Labelle mags with black Bushmaster floorplates until their supply of these pre-ban mags ran out in late 1998. The last of the mags had unmarked black floorplates. It appears that Bushmaster is making their 2nd Generation 10-round magazines from cut-down, post-ban teflon Labelle mags. Made in 1994. Floorplates stamped:

B.F.I.
WINDHAM, ME (Snake)
U.S.A.

Thanks for the info guys.  Based on the link you sent, the timeline when I purchased these would be about right for the Bushy's.

I've actually got some of the Labelle's with the DPMS floorplate as described in the article (still in their unopened plastic)... it's a shame what they go for now.  I thought I was gettin' ripped off at $7 each when I bought them.hinking.gif

Appreciate the help.
