I bought one today. Installed it. So far I am just getting the muscle memory down.

In doing so, It has slipped up so that the bolt carrier catch pin on the redi-mag is in the notch of the catch and not working. I have it tourqed down good-n-tight.

I have tried a few mags loaded, seems the weight of the mags is holding it down. I am thinking of sanding the plastic block down a bit so the screws can go a tad deeper.

Thoughts?

I bought mine at least 5 years ago and it came with some small strips of sticky back thin rubber pieces to put between the Redi-mag and the mag well. I have not had any problem with mine moving in the 5 or so years that I have used it. Try some thin rubber strips before you sand down the block. Hope this helps.

If it is just the regular version of the redi-mag it would come with little pieces of rubber. If it's the QD version they just used a cut inner tube.

I have been using a Redi-Mag A1 for the past few months. I have never experienced this problem.
