Hi Boyz, This is my very first post and also my very first AR style rifle, I purchased a Panther 308 from a local FFL well on my first trip out I kept getting failure to feed on South African Surplus, I found out later that DPMS had alot of trouble with this ammo feeding but I had thought it was the mags as they had some type of preserve that were on them and maybe was causing them not to strip off properly so I took them apart (first mistake) the springs are not attached to the follower like on my old FAL so I am not sure if the springs are back in correctly, they are squared at both ends, so does it matter how they go back in, I presently have the squared end towards the rear of the mag.
