I now have a Cav-15 and I have been getting more mags.  I have a total of 7 now but am adding more.  I think I have 4 more from the EE but I have to wait for the reply from the seller.  I saw some SA80 mags for sale in shotgun news.  What are the opinions of these mags compared to standard USGI mags.  Thanks

Check they are SA80 mags and not SAR80 mags that can be a pain to fit.

SA80 mags are either aluminium with the plastic floorplate and 'RG' embossed in the take-down button, or the issue steel ones with HK stamped on the side. Civilian and after market (US) HK SA80 mags have some crap written on the side about Law Enforcement only but still have HK stamped on them

SAR80 mags may be marked as 'ENGLAND' on a label, and sometimes have 'Charter Industries' or 'Imperial Defence' on the base plate. These are NOT SA80 mags and many have the catch hole slightly in the wrong place and will need filing to fit properly and not foul the bolt carrier. They are made in Singapore for a UK company and are designed for the SAR80 not the SA80.
