At a gun show yesterday 2 venders were selling mags they say are Sterlings.
These mags have no markings at all other than the little "ENGLAND" sticker.
They are grey steel, black followers and blank floorplates.
They come wrapped in brown paper in lots of 5.
One had a couple 40rd Sterlings that the floor plate was marked.
They are good  quality and have real good springs on a par with Wolf Xtra power springs.
Can anyone tell me if these are Sterlings or Royal Ordnance or Imperial Defence?SA80s?
I have bought these and put magpuls in them and they run flawless, econo-HKs.
I would really like to have an idea who made them as they are not marked in any way other than the sticker.
Thanks for your help.
I have read Troy's Mag facts at the top of the page it did help me ID a couple Colt mags.

I don't know who makes those mags but I do know they are not used in the SA80 and never have been.  I have one of those mags and it has worked perfect  but other than that I know nothing about them

It seems odd that it is so hard to ID these as good as they are.
These mags are IMHO better than the Center,Bushmaster, and Colts I have as far as function, fit and finish.
They lock the bolt open every time on the last shot, even  on 1 rifle I have that is mag fussy in this department. I think this is due to the better spring rate.
BFI and Center are new.
How about this , are  the Sterlings,Imperials and Royals you guys have so marked?
