I'm ready to take the plunge on a Beta -C just wondering if I need to order the whole package with the loader etc. or just the mag ? Does the loader that comes with it load loose rounds or just on stripper clips ?and would my LULA loader work on it as well ? Thanks

My original loader works best for the full-up. This is the ONLY loader I use now, the factory provided one. I tried my LULA, and the last few rounds ended up having the cases deformed by the LULA applying pressure in too narrow an area, causing the case to dent. Check the last two or three rounds loaded with the LULA. Deformed cased might fail to chamber. Maybe my C-mag has an excessive amount resistance for the last coupla rounds... or maybe yours does this too, and you did not notice. Worth checking out! |
I guess I'll get the whole kit was just seeing if it was worth the extra $40 or put that $ to feeding of my new toy !!  on a related front how are the Beta's on ammo do they feed the russian ammo ok ? I shoot a ton of wolf and barnaul and know that it won't feed in the Orlite /Thermold mags and does not work in the MWG drum (old style Wolf have not tried new Wolf yet till I use up the closet full i have now )  I'ts not a big deal to keep me from ordering one, but always nice to be able to blast the cheaper stuff at paper and steel plates thanks |
