How easy would it be to modify a STEN magazine. THis would be for use in a AR15 9mm carbine.

I also have the conversion from ASA, it uses a drop-in magazine block that drops in from the top.It uses converted uzi mags. The only mod that you need to do is make a cut for the AR mag release in the side of the magazine, which is very simple, You can use the magazine block as a template. The magazine are in-expensive, I've been paying about $10.00 for a 25 rounder, and about $14.00 for 32rounders at most gun shows. I paid $700 for the ASA upper kit about 4yrs. ago, It's a 16", flat top upper, very, very reliable, no prolems waht so ever.very pleased with it.

Depends on which 9mm carbine... The Sten mag is too wide to use a one piece block but you can modify the old colt two piece blocks to fit... then just cut a notch in the mag.

If it is an Oly then the Stens work with little or no modification... Either with the addition of a block or the use of a KKF or SOCOM mag block.
